Portal Terms of Use

Shipping & Delivery
This permit portal is operated by Excel Parking services for the University of Cumbria and is available for use by all UoC staff and students. Permits purchased for all main campus sites are NO LONGER physical permits and as the system has been migrated to a new permit system utilising your vehicles registration number instead of a physical paper permit in the windscreen. Once a permit application has been received and approved you will recieve confirmation via email and your permit will be immediately active unless you have made an advance purchase. Where a permit is requested for the off-campus parking sites, these still require a physical permit and these will be despatched by royal mail post within two weeks of your permit application being processed. In the interim you will recieve an email confirmation and you should display this in your vehicle until your permit is received.
Privacy & Security
Excel Parking believes that your private data should remain private. No information supplied is shared with any third party. We may supply to authorised personnel within the University relevant information for purposes of salary deduction for the cost of the permit and the general smooth running of operation of the car parks in accordance with the University of Cumbria Traffic Policy.
Returns & Replacements
There are no returns available for permits and permits cannot be refunded for any portion of a permit that is not used. If you loose or misplace your permit a replacement permit can be ordered via the portal. A replacement fee will apply for any replacement issued.
When ordering permits the user warrants that the information they provide is correct and relates specifically to their own vehicle. Neither the University or Excel Parking Services accept responsibility for permits purchased in error or where the wrong or incorrect details have been provided. If you have inputted the wrong vehicle details you must contact Excel Parking Services immediately to advise of the error. A permit that has been purchased incorrectly or for the wrong vehicle will invalidate the permit and you may be laible for any parking charges issued.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Prices displayed on the permit portal are correct at the time of publication. Prices are set by the University of Cumbria and are reviewed annually in line with University policy. Prices displayed include VAT where applicable and all processing costs. Some staff permits are displayed at £0.00 value as these are not payable at point of purchase but deducted from salary dependant on staff salary banding. Viewing Orders
Once you have made your application for your permit you can view the status of your application at anytime by logging into your account. Details or progress of your order will be emailed to the account email address you provided when setting up your account.
Updating Account Information
Your account details and information needs to be kept up to date so that we may contact you to advise you of any changes in parking policy or requirements about your permit. You may change your details at any time by using the account management tab on the portal
